You have most likely heard of the existence of acai berries. It is also a much washed fruit because it is used to make healthy (not only) drinks. Acai is the fruit of a tropical palm tree called Euterpe Brazilian (Euterpe oleracea), which, in its original homeland, i.e., in Brazil, is called acai in its original land. This tree can grow up to a height of 20 meters, but it is often several times lower. In any case, the products from its fruits are worth including in the family diet.
Acai fruits as excellent antioxidants
These fruits are often also called acai berry. However, the content of active substances is more interesting. They contain fiber, omega-3, 6, and 9 unsaturated fatty acids, many vitamins, namely C and representatives of group B, and beta-carotene (provitamin A), flavonoids, and minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, or zinc. Cherries – a trendy fruit that will benefit you
Cherries are a type of fruit that has been grown in our country since the middle Ages, although they originally came from Asia Minor. It is a fruit from some types of plums, which, in addition to cherries, includes cherries, plums, and peaches. All of them are classified in the pink family. The fruits of cherries measuring up to 2 cm have skin, flesh, and a stone inside. Although red cherries are the most famous in the Czech Republic, they exist in many variants. You can prepare compotes, jams, bubbly, sweet desserts, ice cream, and they can also be used as decorations on cakes. They are also used to prepare various beverages, both non-alcoholic such as fruit juice, juice, or flavored cola, and alcoholic. For example, this includes liqueurs, spirits, and, last but not least, cherry beer.
Please note: cherries can therefore be used to make food and drinks. However, this fruit partially penetrates, and you should not combine it with liquids, especially milk. The sugars in the cherries ferment with them, which can manifest itself less desirably.
Basics of growing cherry trees
The ideal place to plant cherries should have an average annual temperature of around 8 ° C. However, it must not be too wet or too dry. Well-drained soil is also essential. Planting should take place in spring or autumn, and it is, of course, optimal to take care of branches and shoots. Also, the cherry requires regular fertilization.
